As in its predecessors, the tall 21-inch spoked front wheel rolls between the namesake wide-set, raked-back forks. Forward foot controls lend a long, lean look to the chassis, and combined with the "ape hanger" handlebars, give the rider a natural laid-back posture.
A deeply stepped saddle provides ample comfort for both the rider and passenger, a welcome feature since the 5.2-gallon Fat Bob tank can carry the Wide Glide a long way between fuel stops. This example wears the winged tank emblem and Midnight Red and Champagne Pearl paint of the 95th anniversary models.
