The 1994 BMW R1100RSL motorcycle used the German company's traditional "boxer" twin engine, but now fitted with four-valve heads, electronic fuel injection, and catalytic converter.

Antilock brakes were optional on the RSL.
Shown are the toothed "trigger wheels" for the ABS.
Telescopic forks were used to locate the front wheel.
