 On the Gold Wing, the flat six was hidden by bodywork. On the Valkyrie it was exposed in all its chromed glory. |
 Forks, handlebars, bullet-shaped instruments, and headlight were slathered in chrome. |
 Unlike rival models, the 1998 Honda Valkyrie's instruments were mounted above the headlight. |
