Martin Dring of Fearless Choppers and Russ Austin of Precious Metal Customs combined their considerable talents to build the Spoon Cobra. With its sculpted sheetmetal and distinctive touches, it was obviously a successful venture.

Beginning with a Precious Metal Customs chassis with 6-inch rise and 5-inch stretch, a 52-degree rake was applied to 24-inch-over forks from Mean Street. Weld wheels were used front and rear, both fitted with Hawg Halter disc brakes. A 280-series rear tire receives power from a 96-cubic-inch S&S engine via a Baker 5-speed transmission with right-side drive.

Every inch of the Spoon Cobra's sheetmetal was hand-formed by Fearless Choppers and Precious Metal Customs, creating a truly individual machine. Candy Brandywine paint is highlighted with subtle images, the largest of which covers the top of the concave-sided fuel tank. The end result is a radical chopper that clearly shows what these combined forces can achieve.
