The 1937 Nimbus Luxus was an unusual motorcycle in terms of its many unorthodox design features and also in the fact that it was Danish-built.

Frame rails surrounded the fuel tank, the gear lever was centrally mounted, and the handlebars were pressed steel.
The 45-cubic-inch overhead-valve four used efficient cross-flow design but had exposed valve springs.
Nimbus motorcycles were offered only in four-cylinder, shaft-drive form throughout their 1920-1957 production run.
Telescopic forks were unusual, and rather advanced, for the 1930s.
