The 2000 Jaguar XKR, a 4-passenger luxury sports car, was a superb, supercharged variant of the “base” XK form. With its blown 4.0-liter V-8, which made 370 horsepower and 387 pounds/feet of torque, the XKR could dash from 0-60 mph in less than six seconds -- quick for a heavy car.

The R's computer controlled- shock absorbers and 18-inch wheels improved handling with little harm to the XK's absorbent ride. Functional hood louvers and mesh grille were subtle clues that the Jaguar was supercharged. One of the great grand touring cars of its time.
