1990-1991 Cadillac Seville STS
A Seville option package since late 1988, the Cadillac Seville STS became a separate model in 1990. As with the Eldorado Touring Coupe (which shared the same platform), the 1990-1991 Cadillac Seville STS offered better handling and less chrome than the base model. Automatic-adjustable shock absorbers firmed the suspension at highway speeds and during fast cornering, but offered a comfortable ride at other times. Anti-lock brakes were standard on the STS.![]() 1991 Cadillac ST. See more pictures of classic cars. |
A luxurious wood and leather interior was marred by a digital instrument panel. Front seat room was good, but the back seat lacked leg room. In '91, the rear center console was dropped to allow three-across seating. Most prefer the styling of later Sevilles, but the smaller size of this generation made the STS more nimble.
