The 1955 DeSoto Fireflite Coronado was a springtime trim option offered
for the Fireflite four-door sedan. Small "Coronado" labels under the
Fireflite script on the front fenders identified this model. The design was marked
by an arresting three-tone paint job -- black top, turquoise body, white color
sweep -- and an interior to match. The model was soon abandoned, although
DeSoto had produced a less collectible Coronado package for 1954 as well.
