The 1953-1954 Hudson Super Jet was the upper-class version of Hudson's ho-hum compact, though no different bodily or mechanically from the plain Jet. Offered from the first in two- and four-door sedan styles, the 1953-1954 Super Jet also had the scrunched-up proportions that gave the Jet the look of a big Hudson -- or 1952 Ford -- that had shrunk at the cleaners.
