The 1947-1948 Kaiser Custom was a more luxurious, top-of-the-line model
among early Kaisers, and also more desirable now, though built in smaller
quantities and not as easily found. Its price premium over the basic Special
was largely due to its more plush, color-keyed interior. Exterior trim was much
the same on both models, though Customs did carry identifying fender script.
