1937 Nimbus Luxus Pictures
The 1937 Nimbus Luxus was an unusual motorcycle in terms of its many unorthodox design features and also in the fact that it was Danish-built. A frame of channel steel rails instead of round tubing was a Nimbus design feature. |
 Frame rails surrounded the fuel tank, the gear lever was centrally mounted, and the handlebars were pressed steel. |
 The 45-cubic-inch overhead-valve four used efficient cross-flow design but had exposed valve springs. |
 Nimbus motorcycles were offered only in four-cylinder, shaft-drive form throughout their 1920-1957 production run. |
 Telescopic forks were unusual, and rather advanced, for the 1930s. |
