The Century's traditional combination of light body and big-Buick power
was established during this period. Among the more desirable body styles are the
1937-1938 two-door sedans and the sleek fastback sedanet of 1941-1942, which vie in
popularity with the rare open phaetons and convertibles.
Many bare chassis (1936-1939) were fitted with custom coachwork and can thereby qualify as CCCA Classics. This is one of the best all-around Buicks of the period.
